caravans....?

...an unnecessary blight on the roads? causing travel chaos right through the summer...complete idiots pulling them with no regard for other road users... can we use the RAF to bomb them off our roads??

3. Is your other name Jeremy Clarkson? Caravanning is hugely enjoyable as anyone who does it will tell you - I assume you've never tried it ! It's usually the other 'idiots' on the road that cause problems with their impatience to get to wherever they're going and lack of tolerance. Maybe you should try it just the once and learn to calm down and relax !
4. in my opinion, caravans and lorries should be restricted to the time of day they can travel, like lorries should only be permitted to travel at night the amount of accidents they cause!! i was driving down the m1 the other day, and there was a ruddy caravan in the right-hand lane tootling along at 40 miles per hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! either get them off the roads, or make them travel overnight! i'm with you to help you get them off the roads!!!!!

6. As a caravanner of many years' experience, I have to disagree strongly. WE don't cause chaos, it's the people who have to get to their destination yesterday and who have no patience who are the problem. OK, there will be a few who do the things they shouldn't - like tootling down the right hnd lane of the M1 at 40 mph, but, on the whole, we're a pretty nice bunch of people. Have a nice day, now.
7. Dave! everybody can't afford to buy a camping car! A caravan is still for a lot of people the only means to have affordable hollidays. You shouldn't be so drastic! On the other hand RAF has better to do!
